As such, Harrison McMillan is excited to be partnering with Kalyra to appoint the pivotal role of Director of People and Culture to their senior leadership team to lead key business transformation actions and deliver a range of people programs. This role will make a significant impact through encouraging innovation and influencing staff, consumers and families to behave differently as we move into a true partnership, based on human rights, to deliver positive aging outcomes.

 

Our client is seeking a trusted adviser to the CEO. This role requires someone who is strongly values driven with the skills capability to facilitate great outcomes with the Executive Team, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

About you

The ideal candidate will be a strategic people and culture leader with a systems-thinking approach, enabling quick understanding of Kalyra’s operational landscape. You will possess strong values, exceptional collaboration skills, and a focus on business systems. Your role will involve developing a service-oriented support team that empowers staff to meet community expectations.

 

With outstanding interpersonal skills, you will engage effectively at all levels, providing insights and guidance on navigating workforce challenges and opportunities. This position offers the chance to profoundly impact the organisation’s future.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in a senior people and culture leadership role, ideally within the community, healthcare, aged care sector or similar.
  • A passion for driving positive outcomes for employees and the people they support.
  • Expertise in HR strategy, employee relations, safety leadership, and industrial relations.
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • A values-driven approach, with a commitment to promoting fairness and equitable treatment for all.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organisation.
  • A commitment to improving the lives of older people and the families that support them.
