As a family-owned business with over 65 years of experience, it employs 70 full-time staff and subcontracts to hundreds of businesses, managing nearly 4,000 jobs annually.

Role Overview
The Site Manager oversees labor and subcontractors to ensure construction projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Building Codes, while maintaining professional relations with clients and stakeholders.

About you
The ideal candidate has commercial construction supervision experience, relevant licenses and certifications, a passion for building, strong communication skills, and aligns with the company's values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with internal management systems and Building Code.
  • Oversee labour and subcontractors, maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain professional relations with clients, consultants, architects, and authorities.
  • Assist the Project Manager with project programs and progress monitoring.
  • Complete inspections, quality control plans, and daily diaries.
  • Induct and ensure subcontractor compliance with site requirements.
  • Provide and check set-out points and identify defects.
  • Manage site safety and cleanliness.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Supervision experience in commercial construction.
  • White Card, Driver's License, Builder's Licence, or Supervisor's Registration.
  • Safety Supervisor training or equivalent qualification.
  • Trade background highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer technology and software packages like MS Office Suite (Procore is highly desirable).
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
