- Lead Safety & Wellbeing Strategy – Drive LHG’s WHS and wellbeing programs, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and best practices.
- Risk & Compliance Management – Conduct WHS audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to uphold a safe workplace.
- Develop Wellbeing Initiatives – Design and deliver programs that enhance the mental, physical, and social wellbeing of employees.
- Enhance Safety Leadership – Train and coach leaders to build their WHS capability and embed a culture of safety-first thinking.
- Drive Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with senior leaders, WHS committees, and external bodies to implement effective safety and wellbeing solutions.
- Continuous Improvement – Monitor legislative changes, identify risks, and introduce proactive strategies to enhance workplace safety.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent experience) – Essential.
- Proven experience in Work Health & Safety (WHS) roles, with strong knowledge of legislation, compliance, and risk management.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing safety and wellbeing programs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A current Australian driver’s licence (P2 or above) and willingness to travel between sites.
