- Manage clinical care and nursing services, ensuring they align with policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee resident assessments and care plans, ensuring documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and meets all legislative requirements.
- Implement and monitor systems for consistent service delivery, with a focus on person-centred care and resident wellness.
- Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, promoting positive outcomes for residents and staff.
- Manage the relationship with residents’ families and external healthcare providers, addressing complex issues and maintaining clear communication.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for clinical staff, fostering a supportive and skilled workforce.
- Ensure all WHS regulations and safety standards are adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and residents.
- Strong clinical expertise in aged care with comprehensive knowledge of the aging process and relevant health issues.
- Proven leadership and people management skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organisational skills, and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Knowledge of aged care legislation, Aged Care Act 1997, Accreditation Standards, ANNAC and WHS regulations.
- Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and current practicing certificate.
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
