Your Opportunity

Join Kalyra as a Project Manager/Business Analyst, where you will lead a transformative project to digitise and streamline our accounts payable and staff expense management processes. This is an exciting opportunity to implement a new system and processes that enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve financial oversight.

Reporting to the General Manager of Information and Digital Services, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to define requirements, source the right technology, and drive process improvements. With a strong focus on business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and change management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful adoption of this new system.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension based on project needs.

What You'll Bring

You are a strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset, passionate about driving efficiency and process improvements. With your strong communication and interpersonal skills, you can engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring smooth collaboration and successful project outcomes. You have a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to challenges, and the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions. Your ability to manage change, educate teams, and implement effective systems will be key to the success of this project.

  • Project & Change Management Expertise  – Experience in implementing new systems, process transformation, and engaging with stakeholders to drive change.
  • Business Analysis Skills  – Ability to gather and document requirements, analyse business needs, and work with technical teams to develop solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication  – Strong interpersonal skills to work across various departments, educating and supporting staff through the transition.
  • Process Improvement Mindset  – Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve tracking, compliance, and ease of use.
  • Technical & Procurement Collaboration  – Experience working with IT teams and procurement in sourcing and integrating new technology solutions.
  • Industry Experience  – While a finance background is beneficial, it is not essential. We value adaptability, problem-solving, and a strategic mindset.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following: 

  • Relevant Industry certifications (Desirable)
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded
  • National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • 3 x COVID-19 vaccinations and annual influenza vaccination
