Role Overview
Reporting to the Global Mobility Operations Lead, the Global Mobility Specialist is accountable for overall case management of various types of large volume international assignments and relocations to support ASC’s talent mobilisation requirements. The primary focus of this role is ensuring excellent service delivery, cost compliance and operational deployment dates are achieved.
Whilst this role does not have any direct reports there is a requirement to mentor and instruct Global Mobility Officers/Coordinators in achieving the delivery of all assignment life cycle activities from expatriation through to extensions, repatriations or potential localisations.
The position is required to maintain strong working relationships with mobilising employees, cross functional teams (payroll/finance/legal/insurance) and external vendors (relocation, tax, immigration) to ensure ongoing operational support to align to compliance and delivery requirements.
About the Person
- Qualifications in HR Management, or equivalent work-related experience.
- Significant experience in coordinating global mobilisations.
- High accuracy on data entry and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people from different levels across the organisation and to explain complex principles.
- Organised and capable of managing competing priorities whilst still meeting timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all pre-assignment planning activities.
- Establish and oversee required expatriation, extension and repatriation activities for various internation assignment types.
- Manage delivery of assignment life cycle activities
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to Global Mobility Officers/Coordinators.
- Support the global mobility program effectiveness.
