Role Overview
As a Bid Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting business growth by managing bid processes, coordinating proposal submissions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant proposals. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will help streamline operations, maintain key documentation, and drive efficiency in sales and business development efforts.

A proactive problem solver, you are comfortable liaising with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth and successful submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate bid submissions, analyse documentation, and ensure timely, high-quality proposals.
- Develop, format, proofread, and maintain proposal templates and case studies.
- Work with internal teams and external clients for bid clarifications and approvals.
- Assist with presentations, CRM updates, client follow-ups, and sales reporting.
- Identify ways to streamline bid management and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to legal, corporate, and industry standards.
- Experience in bid support, bid management, or sales support.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with government or Defence tendering processes.
- Familiarity with proposal automation tools or project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Trello).
- Understanding of APMP principles or similar bid frameworks.
- Previous Defence experience or veteran status is desirable
